About Jeff Low

Originally from Binghamton, NY, Jeff is the first born American to parents who fled Hitler and left from Vienna, Austria. He was an Honors graduate from Syracuse University, and graduate school in Harlem, Netherlands.

Jeff Low is an artist of boundless talent, creativity and unique vision. His sculptures, paintings, prints and drawings along with mixed medium prices are much sought after and hard to come by.

His one man shows have sold out from New York to LA. But in the mid-ninety’s he abruptly stopped showing in galleries.

Jeff overheard a patron telling another attendee that she couldn’t afford Low’s works any longer. He was deeply upset personally with this remark. He had no control of the asking prices once it got out of his hands.

He decided to create a new form of art with which he could communicate with the masses of new fans. His canvas became fabric and and his all-natural designs of clothing became a huge success.

Jeff still creates private commission works for design projects as well as private collectors. His passion is to communicate and he does this with new energy today in his seventies.

He is adept at using allegories to relate whole stories to the viewer creating simple memorable images. He never ceases to explore new materials or ways to tell a story through his art!

“Life” has been the theme and inspiration for his new creative works. Jeff’s passion is clearly evident as he lets us experience life forms and emotions and helps us cherish life itself and one another.

Jeff has created art pieces for diverse locations and wonderful collections. among these are the Kennedy Center in Washington DC, UNICEF and the UN. He created the art image which has become the symbol for Planned Parenthood internationally. He has pieces in the The American Airlines head-quarters, The Westin Tabor Center in Denver Colorado, and the permanent collection of the McDonalds Corporation Art collection.

Jeff is committed to assisting and bringing awareness to organizations dealing with children’s causes, the National Arts Alliance, UNICEF, Cystic Fibrosis, our wounded veterans, and is adding new causes to his legacy of communicating with his art and the needs of others. Most consider Jeff Low a Multi medium and multi talented extraordinary artist, but some say “JEFF LOW IS a unique HEART-ist”!
